The 2010 Spring Convention will be the official launch of the North American Bus Association, where participants will learn what NABA is all about, be given membership information, as well as the chance to subscribe to the NABA newsletter. This two day convention will take place on the weekend of May 22-23 in the beautiful city of Dayton, Ohio. Not only is our convention taking place here, but Dayton also has a lot more to offer in terms of tourist attractions and shopping. If you're an avaiation fan, you should definitely make sure you stop at the U.S. Air Force Museum before returning home!
After months of negotiations with the Greater Dayton RTA, NABA has come to an agreement with officials to have the BBC Trolley #110 pulled out for a true last ride.
The RTA is currently in the works to restore this historic vehicle for our convention.
On the 22nd we will be using the BBC to tour the Dayton trolley network, also a tour of the garage facility will be provided. We are also hoping to have additional goodies lined out during the day, and we are currently in negotiation for these to happen.
Participants will also get a look at Dayton's brand new hybrid buses, as well as other buses in the fleet which have recently been repainted into the RTA's new scheme.
Sunday plans are still to be announced, as they have not been finalized as of yet. We are open for suggestions from registered participants, as the plans could change anytime for this day.
All participants will be required to spend a minimum of two days in Dayton, OH (the full length of the NABA Convention), and due to the nature of this event, payment is required in full before registration can be completed as per agreement with the GDRTA. Payment will be accepted in either Canadian or American funds (CAD/USD).

Details subject to change. NABA reserves the right to alter charter details while giving at least 48 hours notice. In the circumstance the requested vehicle become unavailable, the agency reserves the right to swap the vehicle with one that is operational without notice.
